Keep it in the middle and on Top

Well, its good to start out with the reasoning behind the title of the blog. I heard a message about 2 years ago from a young pastor at CC Fort Lauderdale as he explained how the christian walk is one where we are to keep it in the middle, the path is long and very narrow, yet we are to stay in the middle. I have found myself at times looking over the edge and when not careful actually jumping off the edge. The world is like that, it calls to us from the left and from the right. Our desire should be to stay as centered as possible.
The "on top" of the title is an encouragement to live victorious lives, as Christians when we keep things in the middle we are directly in the will of God, thus living life on top. Do we fail? At times of course, however its so nice to go back to Word and obey 1John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness"

My encouragement to you today is to keep it in the middle and on top. A beer commercial says "live life to the Ultra", I can't help but think that the only way to do that is to live life for Christ not by drinking what they have to offer!

My thought for this blog is to share what the Lord shares with me as I read His word and hopefully encourage some.
